Well it seems that lately robbers are more and more daring. I am watching TV and I see that a bank has been robbed at gunpoint in ClujNapoca and the robbers left on foot with 60k euros. I say damn! I wonder how long will it take untill we will be robbed on the streets at gunpoint, esspecially since today it’s real easy to buy a non-lethal weapon but which can be used really well to robb somebody. I mean, these robbers in Cluj used electoshock guns and they walked away with a significant amount of money. What would stop anyone from doing the same thing on the street? How can one protect himself/herself against these guns?
And since this blog is about marketing and promotions I ask you, why don’t we arrange a fair or an expo with guns. You probably think I am insaine but I think this kind of event would do more good than bad. People would be more informed about how to react when in contact with any form of weapon or when threatened. This way heroes like the guy in Brasov would know better not to run after the guy holding a gun. It’s a known fact that the police advice people being robbed to be cooperative in order to stay alive and of course provide details about the robber. You can always buy another watch or earn some more money but you can’t get back your life. So, stay alive!
The things we see at the news are indeed alarming, but on what concerns violence and crime we are still at the bottom of the list compared to other countries. Unfortunately it seems soon we will be catching up if we continue like this. The increasing violence in schools, the place where the the young children should be educated, makes me wonder about our future, since it depends on them to make a change… Nevertheless, i still believe in Romania and i think that it is never too late to do something for our country, even through our own daily behaviour. I do love Romania, no matter what!
